YeshBe is built so that people can create software by describing it. That promise is empty if the tool itself cannot be used by everyone, so accessibility is treated as part of the product rather than as a compliance exercise.
1. Conformance status
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Conformance is reviewed periodically, and the sections below describe both what has been done and what is still open.
2. What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a single, ordered heading structure on every page.
- All interactive elements reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
- Visible focus indicators that are never removed, only restyled.
- A “Skip to content” link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Text contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds.
- Images carry alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields, buttons and menus expose their state through ARIA attributes.
- Animation is disabled automatically when the operating system requests reduced motion.
- Layout is written with logical CSS properties, so right-to-left languages are supported natively rather than as an afterthought.
3. Accessibility settings on this site
The accessibility button in the corner of every page opens a panel with four settings. Your choice is remembered on this device between visits.
- Monochrome. Removes colour, which helps when colour is a distraction rather than information.
- High contrast. Increases contrast between text and background.
- Underline links. Marks every link with an underline so links are not identified by colour alone.
- Larger text. Increases the base text size across the site.
These settings sit on top of, and do not replace, your own browser and operating system settings. Page zoom, system font size and screen readers all continue to work as expected.
4. Compatibility
The site is tested with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and mobile, together with the screen readers built into those platforms. It may work with older browsers, but they are not part of regular testing.
5. Known limitations
We would rather list these than imply the site is perfect:
- Some illustrations on marketing pages are decorative and carry no text alternative by design. No information is conveyed by them alone.
- Content published on the blog by authors may occasionally lack image descriptions. Report any you find and we will correct them.
- Third-party content embedded from other services is not under our control and may not meet the same standard.
6. Languages
This site is published in twelve languages, including Arabic and Hebrew, which are read right to left. Layout, navigation and typography adapt to the reading direction of the language you select.
This statement, along with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, is maintained in English only, so that there is one authoritative version.
7. Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this site, or if something here does not match your experience, please tell us. Reports about accessibility are treated as bugs, not as suggestions.
- Email: accessibility@yeshbe.com
- Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using.
We aim to respond within five business days, and to tell you what we found and when it will be fixed — including when the answer is that it will take a while.
8. Formal approval
This statement was prepared on 1 January 2026 and is reviewed whenever the site changes substantially, and at least once a year.
